Further to EmIS 059/2026 (below), the designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that postal operations have returned to normal after the strike of 18 March 2026.

Strike (EmIS 059/2026 of 13.03.2026)

EmIS 059/2026 

The designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that a 24-hour strike has been confirmed, commencing at 00.01 CET (UTC+1) on 18 March 2026, involving one of the main ground handling companies at Milano Malpensa Airport (ALHA). Consequently, there is a risk that non-guaranteed flights may be cancelled, along with possible delays and disruptions to airport services.
