A 24-hour strike on by several Italian unions may impact Poste Italiane operations on 25 and 26 September 2024

The designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that a 24-hour strike has been called by several Italian unions, commencing at 00.01 CEST on 24 September 2024. The strike will involve ground handlers and other airport services personnel at Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa and certain other Italian airports. As a result, there is a risk of delays and cancellations of non-guaranteed flights.
While mitigation measures will be taken at Poste Italiane facilities, the impact of the strike may continue on 25 and 26 September 2024, depending on the level of participation.
