All postal operations, including mail processing and delivery, have therefore resumed as normal with effect from 29 September 2025

Further to EmIS 222/2025 (below), the designated operator of the Philippines, Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that weather conditions have improved and all postal operations, including mail processing and delivery, have therefore resumed as normal with effect from 29 September 2025.

PHLPost thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding and cooperation during the disruption.

Severe weather conditions (EmIS 222/2025 of 26.08.2025)

EmIS 222/2025 

The designated operator of the Philippines, Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to severe weather conditions currently affecting certain parts of the country, postal operations will be suspended in the areas listed below on 26 September 2025 for the safety of personnel and the public:

  • Metropolitan Manila
  • Biliran
  • Eastern Samar
  • Northern Samar
  • Samar
  • Masbate
  • Romblon
  • Sorsogon

All inbound and outbound mail services will be affected during this period. PHLPost is monitoring the situation closely and will resume normal operations as soon as conditions permit. An update will be issued via EmIS once services have been restored.
