Delays due to adverse weather affect collection and delivery of mail

The designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to adverse weather conditions currently affecting Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia, the collection and delivery of domestic and international mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) in these regions are subject to delays.
Poste Italiane is taking all necessary steps to minimize any inconvenience to its customers.
